Joan Powell serves as our church's secretary. She is a mother to two sons and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother to five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Joan graduated from Geraldine High School and furthered her education at Jacksonville State University. Her hobbies include reading, gardening, hiking, and spending precious time with her family. Before joining our church staff, Joan retired in 2014 from a career as a teacher at Geraldine High School.
